Northland Lions donations for 2021 hit $97,394

   The Northland Lions of Remer celebrated a successful year of giving for 2021. Donations included the 11 Lions Foundations, as well as donations given locally on a regular basis to the Father’s Heart and Hands Food Shelf, City of Remer for a new playground to be installed at the Depot, Faith In Action, Grand Rapids Area Foundation for the Depot, Northland Ministerial Association to provide assistance to those with needs, Remer Centennial Library, the Remer Community Garden, “The Source” Community Center, Independent  School District 118 student activities, Northland Family Center, Support Within Reach, and other youth events.  Total local donations for the year totaled $97,394.  The majority of funds are raised by charitable gambling and meat raffles.  

   Lions appreciate all those in the community who support fund raising activities and enable us to live by our motto “We Serve”.
