Instant Pot Made Easy
Is your instant pot (a modernized pressure cooker) gathering dust in the closet? Do you use it often and want to use it more effectively? Or are you trying to decide if an instant pot is right for you? You will want to attend the Instant Pot Made Easy class on Saturday, September 24, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., at Emily United Methodist Church.
Mary Chapman of Brooklyn Center, free-lance caterer, occasional teacher of instant pot classes, and adventuresome cook, will discuss many aspects of using this popular multipurpose kitchen appliance and answer your questions.
Participants should bring pen and paper for note taking and will take home a booklet of some of Mary’s favorite recipes, including main dishes, soups, side dishes and desserts, and perhaps the door prize. Mary says, “Many times, the meals I make are throw-together ingredients that require no recipe. Those are some of our best meals.”
A small fee will be charged to cover ingredients and other expenses. Register before September 22 by calling Mikie at 218-763-8656. Emily Methodist Church is located on County Rd.1 in Emily, just west of Hwy 6. Parking at the municipal lot.
