Sounds, shops and snacks... Celebrate fall in Longville with a variety of events

   While shopping around Longville this week, keep your calendars open for fun this fall. Thursday, September 15, kick-off your weekend at Gallery of New Creations & Arts Learning Center at 4 p.m. for their Open House Wine & Cheese Reception. 

   In addition to refreshments, you’ll find entertainment by Merle Brecke with a potential special appearance by “Willie Nelson” and featured guest Patricia Pagels. Amongst her many artistic talents is pine needle basket weaving, which will be demonstrated during the event. Co-sponsored with Longville Lakes Arts Alliance. 

   On Saturday, September 17, at 10 a.m., you’ll find music by Merle Brecke accompanying Arts & Crafts show downtown and German beer and beverages at the Docksider. At 11 a.m., Longville Lions will serve German-style lunches until gone. 

   Get registered for the Scavenger Hunt at Longville Tourism Building at 11:45 a.m. for a 12-2 p.m. hunt.
