Bob Savre Senior Men’s Golf League Results

   The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League had 32 golfers forming 8 teams show up to play the game of the day “3 Low Net Scores on Each Hole”  on Sept. 6 at Longbow Golf Club.

   First place, with a 205, went to the team of: Dave Klosner, 70; Craig Severson, 70; Brad Duhr, 77 and Bob Savre, 82.

   Coming in second place, with a 207, was the team of: Dale Hillstrom, 70; Mike Olson, 73; Bill Jaeger, 74 and Tom Slagle, 80.

   In third place, with a 211, was the team of: Dallas Anderson, 73; Jim Lewis, 75; Marc Schonwise, 75 and Jim Ernst, 85.

   Fourth place, with a 212, went to the team of: Greig Payne, 73; Brent Jacobson, 76; Cy Sorrells, 76 and Steve Carolus, 86.

   Coming in fifth place, with a 214, was the team of: Tim Klosner, 71; Jerry Varner, 75; Doug Hoopman, 79 and Tom Novak, 87.

   Mike Olson walked away with low gross of the day with his 75, while low net of the day ended in a three-way tie between Dave Klosner, Dale Hillstrom and Craig Severson with their 85-15=70; 88-18=70 and 90-20=70 respectively.

   Greig Payne was closest to the pin on No. 12 with a 8’10” and Mike Olson was closest to the pin on No. 17 with a 10’4”. John Verly had the longest putt on No. 2, while Jerry Varner had the longest putt on No. 10. 

   Chip-ins were made by Dale Hillstrom, birdie; Tim Klosner, birdie; Steve Carolus, par; Ray Zittlow, par and Jim Ernst, double bogey.
