LongBow Women’s Golf League results

  Eighteen members and one guest played golf in the LongBow Ladies League on August 31. The third tournament qualifier was rescheduled for this day, and what a difference a week makes. The weather was a perfect almost cloudless and calm day compared to a rainout the previous week.  The league tournament results will be announced at the season-end lunch and meeting.

   Game of the day was 6-6-6 scoring three, two and one best nets on each three-hole set.

   The team of Cindy Gross, Jeanne Major, Suzie Mandsager and Mary Stolze took first place with a team total of 126.  

   Second place went to the team of Carol Doschadis, Kathy Newton, Hope Olson and Betty Birdie with a 132.

   Pat Roush chipped in on the second hole for a birdie while Suzie Mandsager birdied 12 and 17.
