Salem Lutheran Church holds solar raffle
On October 1st, Salem Lutheran Church held its raffle to raise funds for the new solar array.
The vintage handmade quilt was won by Joyce Graunke, the “Field of Orchids” painting was won by Marlys Sorlie, the hand-turned wooden bowl was won by Mona Bratvold, and the brick oven pizza party was won by Deb VanDerberg.
Congratulations to all the winners and all who participated in the raffle. The raffle generated $1,900 for the new solar array.
To date, Salem has raised approximately $73,000 towards the solar array and has slightly more than 56 thousand dollars yet to go to reach the funding goal.
Salem is planning to build its new solar array in 2023.
