Longville Area Women of Today Cookie Walk December 10
The calendar tells us we are getting close to the Christmas holidays! Tis the season to spend time with family, longtime friends and make new friends too. It is the season to count our blessings and be thankful for our community. This is home for the Longville Area Women of Today and we support the Longville community through fundraising, service, and fellowship.
The Longville Area Women of Today will host their 16th Cookie Walk Bake Sale on Saturday Dec. 10th at St. Edward Catholic Church from 9:00 to 11:00 am. We will be offering the same wonderful cookies, baked goods, and Christmas cheer that we experienced in previous years.
Shoppers will be able to select and purchase their favorite homemade cookies, mini breads, and other holiday treats, all baked by our wonderful community bakers. Goods will be ready for individual personal selection and sold by the pound. Some will be prepackaged, weighed and priced ahead of time to facilitate a quick check out. Festive, pre-decorated cookie trays will also be available. They make lovely holidays gifts. Purchase a larger platter for a group event or a smaller one for intimate family visit. Preorders are available for trays and assorted goods. To preorder, contact Pam Klosner at (612) 581-3422 or Tal Hess at (218) 851-0282 no later than December 8th. Also, if you would like to be one of our volunteer bakers, please contact Pam or Tal. We always look forward to meeting new members of the community and invite everyone to participate.
All proceeds stay in the Longville Community for the benefit of the Longville Skating Rink and the Food Shelf as well as other community events and needs. We invite everyone to come for coffee and Christmas cheer at this “sweet” annual event. Merry Christmas from the Longville Area Women of Today.
