Home energy workshop to be offered in Hackensack on November 16

   The Hackensack Union Congregation Church will be hosting a home energy workshop on Nov. 16 from 4:00 - 6:30 p.m. This free public workshop will offer opportunities to learn how to save on home energy bills through efficiency, affordabilty and assistance programs, solar and more. 

   There will be free give-a-ways, snacks and refreshments and kids’ activities throughout the evening. The schedule for the event is as follows: from 4 - 5:30 p.m. there will be presentations on Energy Assistance and Weatherizations Assistance Programs; Affordability Options and Saving on your Home Energy Bills. From 5:30 - 6:30 is the drop-in hour for all of your questions.
