Hackensack Foundation kicks off Brick Fundraiser

   Would you like to memorialize a loved one, a beloved pet, a family trip, an event, a local business for future generations to see?

Hackensack Lakes Area Community Foundation will kick off “Hundreds for Hack” 2023 Brick Fundraiser at the “Hacksgiving Online Auction 2022” beginning November 18th, 2022.

   Bricks will be available for purchase throughout 2022 and into May 2023. The profits will go into the HLACF Endowment Fund, which is then granted out to local nonprofits through an annual grant application process. Since 2019 HLACF has distributed more than $24,000 to the Hackensack and Backus communities and surrounding townships.

The bricks will be installed at the base of the flagpole by The Chamber of Commerce building in Hackensack. There will be a ceremony recognizing the project during Sweetheart Days 2023, details to come. The two brick sizes available for purchase are 4”x8” for $100 or an 8”x8” for $200. Additional charges for personalized graphics and credit cards apply.
