LongBow Senior Men’s Golf League Results
The LongBow Senior Men’s League had 38 golfers forming 10 teams show up to play the game of the day “3 Low Net Scores on Each Hole.”
League results for May 24 are:
First place team, with a 198 included: Jamie Evans, 71; Joe Maertens, 72; Greig Payne, 74 and Jim Ernst, 74.
In second place, with a 208, was the team of: Ray Zittlow, 70; Bob Sankey, 73; Sammy Slicer, 74 and Dale Hillstrom, 82.
Coming in third place, with a 210, was the team of: Brad Duhr, 75; Ken Sausman, 75; Mike Olson, 77 and Rod Bothast, 78.
Fourth place team, with a 211 included: Blair Witt, 71; Mike Haining, 77; Tim Klosner, 77 and Bob Vaughn, 85.
Fifth place ended in a tie, with a 212, between the teams of: Roger Frank, 71; Brent Jacobson, 74; Jerry Varner, 79 and Tom Slagle, 79 AND Bruce Black, 65; Steve Plante, 76; Hadley Hooker, 77 and Jan Pyzik, 84.
Mike Olson took home low gross of the day with his 78 and low net of the day went to Bruce Black with his 88-23=65.
Dallas Anderson was closest to the pin on No. 12 with a 8’7” and Blair Witt was closest to the pin on No. 17 with a 6’0”. Ken Sausman had the longest putt on No. 8, while Bruce Black had the longest putt on No. 10.
The lone chip-in of the day was made by Kenny Schleif, birdie.
