Emily Greens Men’s and Women’s Golf League Results


   Attention later arriving snowbirds – leagues are accepting new members and you have not ‘missed’ anything by starting in later in May or even June.  These leagues are set up so it is not an issue to miss a week here or there due to vacation, company, etc. Join a league and have a great time on the golf course.  

   League results for May 17 - 19 are:

   Tuesday Morning (8:30 am) Men’s League- First place team included: Kola Slavin, Keith Petron, Gordon Bobbe and Mick Erickson.

   The second place team included: Tom Walker, Keith Walker, Dave Merta and Scott Balthazor.

   Third place team included: Roger Hanson, Dean Kapler, Bill Waddell and John Geithman.

   The team coming in fourth included: Jim Schallman, Al Schewe, Jerry Booth and Rick Jacobson.

   Chip ins were made by Keith Petron, Kola Slavin, Bill Waddell and Roger Hanson.

   Keith Walker was closest to the pin on #1 with Kola Slavin coming closest to the pin on #3 and Craig Larson being closest to the pin on #9. Longest putt went to Tom Walker this week.

   Tuesday Morning  (11 a.m.) Back 9 Scramble - The team taking home first place included: Keith Petron, Charlie Peterson, Mike Oelrich and Craig Larson.

   The team coming in second included: Mick Erickson, Mike Brown, Clayton Peltier and Roger Hanson.

   Third place went to the team including: Scott Balthazor, Max stoutenberg and Dean Kapler.

   The four place team included: Keith Walker, Jerry Booth, Gary Bochman and Bruce Nelson.

   Tuesday Evening Men’s League / Wednesday Morning Men’s League Match Play on the Back 9 - Teams are forming. Call the clubhouse if interested in playing a fun match play format on the beautiful Back 9 at Emily Greens. 

   Wednesday Evening Women’s League - The ladies were rained out of Wednesday’s match for the second week.

   Thursday Morning Women’s League - The women braved the clouds and cold to play the game of the day: Hi/Low Gross. Barb Heck, Karla Fredrickson, Jody Peck and Mae Curtis walked away as the winners.

   Lone chip-in of the day went to Lisa Weber.
