Emily Greens Men’s and Women’s Golf League Results

   Sunshine and cool weather welcomed the first week of all the league play!  Attention later arriving snowbirds – leagues are accepting new members and you have not ‘missed’ anything by starting in later in May or even June.  These leagues are set up so it is not an issue to miss a week here or there due to vacation, company, etc. Join a league and have a great time on the golf course.  

   League results for May 3 - 5 are:

   Tuesday Morning (8:30 am) Men’s League- First place team included: Jim Wick, Mike Brown, Tim Donnay, Don Rodi and Dave Merta.

   The second place team included: Don Atwater, Mike Oelrich, Roger Hanson and Bill Gamble.

   The lone chip in was made by Lenny Deshayes.

   Tuesday Morning  (11 a.m.) Back 9 Scramble - The team taking home first place included: Bill Dehnert, Gary Nelson, Don Rodi and Mike Brown.

   The team coming in second included: Don Atwater, Gordon Bobbe, Tim Donnay and Roger Hanson.

   Tuesday Evening Men’s League / Wednesday Morning Men’s League Match Play on the Back 9 - Teams are forming. Call the clubhouse if interested in playing a fun match play format on the beautiful Back 9 at Emily Greens. 

  Wednesday Evening Women’s League - The game of the day “Reverse Your Score” was played with the following ladies walking away as winners: Marianne Auge, Becky Guida, Patsy Bernhjelm, Robin Purgett and Jan Jurek.

   Chip ins this week were made by Mary Patterson and Jan Jurek.

   Thursday Morning Women’s League - The game of the day “Hi Lo” was played with the following ladies walking away as winners: Marlene Yurek, Marlene Miller, Barb Heck, Mac Curtis, Pat Townsend, Polly Abler, Sharon Kampschroer and Lorrie Rode. Mikie Walker walked away with the lone chip-in.
