Backus Senior Center hosts Welcome Back Snowbirds spaghetti lunch

   The Backus Senior Center invites everyone to attend its, Welcome Back Snowbirds Spaghetti Lunch on Wednesday, May 18th from 10:45 till 12:30 for Just $5.00! The Center is located at 131 Front Street in Backus.

   Lunch includes a large plate of spaghetti and garlic toast. Also available soup and sandwich plus an assortment of desserts!

   Hungry for breakfast? Cinnamon and caramel rolls and now serving sausage, egg and cheese muffins at 8 a.m.

   You can dine in or take out for both meals. In a hurry, call ahead at 218-947-3844

   The Center is a non-profit organization run completely by volunteers!

   The goal is to provide a home-cooked reasonably-priced hot meal for everyone in the community to enjoy every Wednesday! Come join us with the good folks of this area who use it as a day to socialize with friends and neighbors.

   Money made is for food, equipment and all overhead cost.

   The center has donated to both Pine River and Hackensack food shelves along with a few youth organizations in the area.

   No age limit, meals are open to everyone.
