Cancer support group to meet April 21
People who are newly diagnosed with cancer, undergoing treatment or post treatment and their significant others are invited to Cuyuna Regional Medical Center’s Cancer Support Group which will begin meeting in person again on Thursday, April 21, from 12 to 1 p.m. in CRMC’s Clinic Conference Room.
At the meeting, Oncology Care Coordinator Dustine Parks and Palliative Care Hospice Social Worker Betsy Liedl will lead the group in discussing getting back together in person, providing introductions, and obtaining ideas from attendees on future support group topics.
The group is an opportunity to share experiences and support one another, to listen and learn. Cancer Support Group meetings are held the third Thursday of each month with a new topic each month. A soup and sandwich lunch will be served. There is no cost for the group but those planning to attend in person should make a reservations by sending a message to [email protected] or call 218-546-4319.
