Crash injures Remer man

   The Minnesota State Patrol responded to a crash reported at 8:56 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 28 on Hwy. 6 south of Remer. According to the State Patrol report, a 2008 BMW X3 driven by Todd Thomas Keating, Remer, was northbound on the highway when it crossed into the southbound lane, striking a 2011 GMC Sierra driven by Bryce Austin Smith also of Remer. Keating suffered non-life threatening injures and was transported to North Memorial Health Hospital. Smith suffered no reported injuries. The road was dry at the time of the crash.

   Assisting at the scene were the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, Remer Fire and Ambulance, Longville Ambulance and North Memorial Health Air Care.
