Bob Savre Senior Men’s Golf League Results

   The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League had 39 golfers forming 10 teams show up to play the game of the day “3 Low Net Scores on Each Hole”  at Longbow Golf Club.

   League results for June 21 are:

   First place team, with a 203 included: Mark Nichols, 66; Craig Anderson, 74; Bob Vaughn, 76 and Doug Hoopman, 80.

   In second place, with a 206, was the team of: Joe Halley, 72; Ernie Pulido, 73; Roger Frank, 74 and Joe Maertens, 79.

   Third place, with a 212, went to the team of: Dave Klosner, 76; Tom Novak, 77; Steve Carolus, 77 and John Verly, 77.

  Fourth place team, with a 219 included: Jim Sletten, 77; Dale Hillstrom, 79; Sandy Trap, 79 and Mike Olson, 80.

   Coming in fifth place, with a 221, was the team of: Paul Olsen, 75; Mike Haining, 81; Brad Duhr, 83 and Dave Fox, 90.
   Joe Halley took home low gross of the day with his 80 and low net went to Mark Nichols with his 83-17=66.

   Joe Halley was closest to the pin on No. 12 with a 14’3” and Lowell Holland was closest to the pin on No. 17 with a 5’0”. Joe Halley had the longest putt on No. 7, while Bruce Black had the longest putt on No. 10. 

   Chip-ins were made by Mark Nichols (birdie) and Bill Jaeger (par).
