Spring Bike Fling - to Hack and Back

   The Leech Lake Chamber is having their annual Spring Bike Fling on Saturday June 25th with the ride beginning in Walker and going to Hackensack and back. Registration begins at 9 a.m., at Walker City Park, with the race beginning at 10 a.m. 

   Ride your way to Hackensack where 1st Street will be closed for the event.  Wayne and the Boys will be performing live music and some tasty food will be served by the Lions, Northwoods Arts Council, and the Hackensack Lakes Area Community Foundation.

   Other fun events happening in Hackensack that day will be a ribbon cutting for the completion of first street at 10:30 a.m.; a kid’s bike ride at 11 a.m.; and Paws+Claws will be celebrating their 5th year anniversary from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

   After all of the fun in Hackensack, head back to Walker for live music and drink specials at Portage Brewery.
