Bob Savre Senior Men’s Golf League Results

   The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League had 39 golfers forming 10 teams show up to play the game of the day “3 Low Net Scores on Each Hole”  at Longbow Golf Club.

   League results for June 14 are:

   First place team, with a 198 included: Kenny Schleif, 67; Joe Halley, 68; tom Novak, 70 and Cy Sorrells, 78.

   In second place, with a 206, was the team of: Neil Mandsager, 70; Brad Duhr, 74; Randy Noecker, 77 and Jamie Evans, 81.

   Third place ended in a tie, with a 207, between the teams of: Jan Pyzik, 71; Brent Jacobson, 74; Danny Divot, 75 and Bill Jaeger, 77 AND Bruce Black, 72; Mike Meagher, 73; Craig Anderson, 78 and Rod Bothast, 79.

   Coming in fifth place, with a 208, was the team of: Tim Klosner, 71; Lowell Holland, 74; Dale Hilstrom, 75 and Joe Maertens, 77.
   Jeff Simons took home low gross of the day with his 75 and low net of the day ended in a three-way tie beteen Jeff Simons, Jerry Varner and Kenny Schleif with their 75-8=67; 80-13=67 and 84-17=67 respectively.

   Neil Mandsager was closest to the pin on No. 12 with a 8’0” and Jeff Simons was closest to the pin on No. 17 with a 3’9”. Dale Hillstrom had the longest putt on No. 8, while John Verly had the longest putt on No. 15. 

   Chip-ins were made by Neil Mandsager (eagle) and Jerry Varner (birdie).
