Summer Programming Begins at the Longville Library
The Longville Library would like to invite kids and teens to register at the library to participate in the 2022 Read Beyond the Beaten Path summer reading program. This theme is focused on the great outdoors, camping and nature. Summer reading programs at the library encourage kids & teens to read their choice of books throughout the summer while earning prizes in the process. Program runs through July 29th. Stop in the library & pick up an activity brochure or ask the librarians about other special activities such as Know Nature Challenge, Nature Activity Squares & Short Story author adventure writing. Kids may join the rock club too. All the details for these programs can be found at the library. There will be open drawings, reading completion drawings and a grand prize drawing for an outdoor camping bundle including a 2 person dome tent, sleeping bag, lantern, hiking backpack & more!
Storytime: Thursday mornings at 10:30. Story and snack provided for preschoolers – Kindergarten age kids accompanied by an adult.
Craft Time: a time of crafting for kids each Friday. Kids accompanied by an adult may visit the library between the hours of 1:30-3:00 pm to participate in making a craft of their very own to take home with them.
