July 12 Hackensack Children’s Fishing Contest Results

   What a wonderful part of our Sweetheart Days’ celebration in Hackensack.  First, we had our fishing contest, then kids games in the park, and end with our Annual Parade (after a 30 min rain delay).  The kids showed up in force again to crowd the dock and definitely soak their feet as they weigh it down under water.  It never sinks, but your stuff gets wet.  Lots of small fish this week, nothing extra big.  We are half-way through our season, so if you haven’t checked it out this year, you better get here soon.
