Bob Savre Senior Men’s Golf League Results

   The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League had 39 golfers forming 10 teams show up to play the game of the day “3 Low Net Scores on Each Hole”  at Longbow Golf Club.

   League results for July 12 are:

   First place team, with a 199 included: Mike Haining, 68; Cy Sorrells, 69; Craig Anderson, 75 and Roger Frank, 78.

   In second place, with a 204, was the team of: Tom Novak, 67; Danny Divot, 72; Bill Jaeger, 75 and Lowell Holland, 78.

   Third place, with a 205, went to the team of: Mike Olson, 72; Doug Hoopman, 75; Brent Jacobson, 78 and Dallas Anderson, 80.

  Fourth place team, with a 210 included: Bob Sankey, 71; Brad Duhr, 74; Jim Ernst, 75 and Bruce Black, 77.

   Ending in a tie for fifth place, with a 211, was the teams of: Dale Hillstrom, 71; Sandy trap, 76; Marc Schonwise, 77 and Jim Zierden, 84 AND Craig Severson, 72; Kenny Schleif, 74; tim Klosner, 75 and Greig Payne, 79.
   Mike Olson took home low gross of the day with his 75 and low net went home with Tom Novak with his 82-15=67.

   Mark Nichols was closest to the pin on No. 12 with a 8’1” and Dale Hillstrom was closest to the pin on No. 17 with a 5’4”. Dave Fox had the longest putt on No. 9, while Lowell Holland had the longest putt on No. 18. 

   Chip-ins were made by Dale Hilstom (birdie) and Jerry Varner (par).
