Bob Savre Senior Men’s Golf League Results

   The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League had 39 golfers forming 10 teams show up to play the game of the day “3 Low Net Scores on Each Hole”  at Longbow Golf Club.

   League results for June 28 are:

   First place team, with a 193 included: Ron Allar, 69; Neil Mandsager, 70; Bob Vaughn, 70 and Jerry Varner, 78.

   In second place, with a 202, was the team of: Bob Savre, 69; Kenny Schleif, 70; Jim Zierden, 74 and Jim Sletten, 76.

   Third place, with a 203, went to the team of: Brent Jacobson, 70; Bob Sankey, 71; Craig Severson, 75 and Lowell Holland, 80.

  Fourth place team, with a 206 included: Dallas Anderson, 72; Steve Plante, 73; Tim Klosner, 74 and Jeff Simons, 81.

   Coming in fifth place, with a 209, was the team of: Ray Zittlow, 71; Steve Carolus, 76; Craig Anderson, 77 and Dave Fox, 83.
   Neil Mandsager took home low gross of the day with his 76 and low net ended in a tie between Ron Allar and Bob Savre with their 95-26=69 and 98-29=69, respectively.

   Steve Carolus was closest to the pin on No. 12 with a 6’3” and Jim Lewis was closest to the pin on No. 17 with a 6’0”. Tim Klosner had the longest putt on No. 9, while Ray Zittlow had the longest putt on No. 18. 

   Chip-ins were made by Greig Payne (birdie), Ron Allar (birdie) and Neil Mandsager (2 birdies).
