Sheriff’s Corner - Changing of the guard

   It is with mixed feelings that I announce I have chosen not to seek re-election in 2022. I will continue to serve the citizens of Cass County as Sheriff through my third term, until the end of 2022.

   Law Enforcement continues to face many challenges and delivering public safety could not be done without the men and women of the Cass County Sheriff’s Office and the communities and citizens that support us.

Serving as Sheriff has been an honor and privilege, which I have never taken lightly. Without the committed staff of the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, this would not have been possible. I am very proud of the dedication and professionalism of our staff and the way they serve all the citizens in our county. We truly are “Keepers of the County.”

   I would also like to thank the many volunteers that support our mission. I am confident that as Cass

County moves into the future, we will continue to have excellent public safety delivery to all our communities.
