Emily Greens Men’s and Women’s Golf League Results

      Leagues are beginning to wind down, but still accepting new members. You have not missed anything by starting later, each week is it’s own event. Come out and join in the fun!  

   League results for Aug. 9 - 11 are:

   Tuesday Morning (8:30 am) Men’s League- First place team included: Keith Petron, John Geithman, Jim Shallman and Mike Oelrich.

   The second place team included: Tom Rollinson, Clayton Peltier and Orville Griffiths.

   Third place team included: Jim Wick, Wayne Seiffert, Jerry Booth and Gary Nelson.

   The team coming in fourth included: Paul Jenson, Scott Balthazor, Don Atwater and Rick Jacobson. 

   Chip ins this week were made by Tom Rollinson, Greg Anderson, Gordon Bobbe and Scott Balthazor.

   Orville Griffiths was closest to the pin on #1 with Keith Petron coming closest to the pin on #3 and Tom Rollinson being closest to the pin on #9. Longest putt went to Mike Brown this week.

   Tuesday Morning  (11 a.m.) Back 9 Scramble - The team taking home first place included: Keith Walker, Keith Petron and Jim Brown.

   The team coming in second included: Jerry Booth, Wayne Seiffert, Bob Ecklund and Ron Ladwig.

   Third place went to the team including: Don Atwater, Dean Kapler, Kola Slavin and Max Stoutenburg.

   Tuesday Evening Men’s League / Wednesday Morning Men’s League Match Play on the Back 9 -   Tuesday’s Skins went to Steve Smith and Tom Pringle with the proxy winners being Terry Kincaid and Roger Roy.

   Skins on Wednesday went to Kola Slavin, Jerry Hagel and Keith Petron with Keith Walker and Clayron Peltier walking away as proxy winners.

  Wednesday Evening Women’s League - The game of the day “Most Fairways Hit,” was played with the following ladies walking away as winners: Marianne Auge, Sue Degner, Elaine Slattery and Nancy Kruse. 

   Thursday Morning Women’s League - The Year end Tournament has begun and winners will be announced in a later issue. Chip ins this week went to Marlene Miller, Robin Purget, Mike Walker, Barb Heck and Karla Frederickson. Marlene Miller also scored the lone birdie for the day.
