Annual Lakers Lions Corn Fest August 20

   The annual Lakers Lions Corn Feed will take place on August 20 at The Pickled Loon Saloon of Emily.

   The event begins at noon with hot dogs, brats, pork on a stick and free sweet corn furnished by The Pickled Loon. There will be 36+ vendors, Family Fun Games and Music. 

Also, hourly 50/50 Drawings will be held along with our Scholarship Raffle - 1st Prize - $750, 2nd Prize - Emily Meats Gift Certificate valued at $400, 3rd Prize - 18 Holes of Golf for 2 (with cart) at Crosswoods, $50 Dinner Certificate for Riverside/Crosslake and 1 night stay for 2 at Whitefish Lodge/Crosslake - a $300 value and 4th Prize - a $250 VISA Gift Card.  All raffle ticket sales benefit the Lions Scholarship Fund.

   Don’t miss out on the live music at The Pickled Loon Saloon, August 19th and 20th. Come on over on Friday and jam out with Free Fallin, a Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers tribute band from 7-10 p.m.. Saturday features Buzzardz from 4-6 p.m., then stick around and listen to Xpedition sing songs by Journey, Styx, Kansas and Foreigner from 7-10 p.m.
