Longville Area Community Foundation Scholarship deadline May 7


   The Longville Area Community Foundation scholarship deadline has been extended until May 7. Graduating seniors and continuing scholars are encouraged to apply promptly. Education is a priority initiative for the Foundation and the program provides scholarships for up to four years of post-secondary education. Applications and information regarding requirements are available on the Foundation’s website (www.longvillefoundation.org).

   Scholarships are considered for students who live in the following Cass County townships: Woodrow, Wabedo, Kego, Pine Lake, Inguadona, Trelipe, Thunder Lake, Rogers, Boy Lake, and the City of Longville. Scholarship awards may range from $100 to $500 and students may re-apply three times for a total of four years’ maximum awards. Scholarships are granted for both four-year colleges and universities and two-year colleges and technical schools.

   The Longville Area Community Foundation awards grants and scholarships that enhance education, environmental projects, the arts, and health and safety programs. More information about the Foundation is available at www.longvillefoundation.org.
