Drug investigation results in arrest

   Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch reports that on Saturday, October 30th 2021, pursuant to an ongoing investigation into the possession, sales and distribution of methamphetamine in Cass County and surrounding areas, Investigators, with the assistance of the Minnesota State Patrol, conducted a traffic stop on a passenger vehicle in the Motley, MN area in Morrison County. The driver, identified as Craig Erickson, age 44 of Pine River, MN, was detained. A search of the vehicle was conducted and approximately 456 grams (one pound) of suspected crystal methamphetamine was located and seized. Formal charges are pending.
