Zalia E. Winger, age 84, of Remer, MN, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015 at Evergreen Terrace in Grand Rapids, MN. She was born in 1931 to George and Ethel Blanchard in Hubbard County, MN. Zalia was married to A.I. Winger for 55 years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, haying, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and husband, A.I. Winger.

Zalia is survived by her daughter, Deb Felstet of Remer, MN, son Ken (Cindy) Winger of North Branch, MN; three sisters; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson; several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 9th at 11:30 am with visitation a half hour prior to the service at the Congregational Church in Remer, MN. Pastor Bruce Pound will officiate.
