Lake Country Power customers will soon receive a mail ballot regarding whether our local, member owned co-op should be subject to additional government review. Our local co-op is efficiently operated and overseen by an elected Board of Directors, our neighbors, from this service area. Being regulated by a State agency will only duplicate efforts, cost us hundreds of thousands of dollars, and take the control of our electric power source to bureaucrats in St. Paul, most of whom live in the Metro area, appointed by the Governor. When you flick on your lights, make sure local elected officials are watching over your electrical power. VOTE NO on your ballot.[[In-content Ad]]
