Dec. 8, 1921
John Vangen, B. F. Clark, Roy Rose, all prominent farmers of the Inguadona section, were in Walker transacting business.
The Ladies who are employed here at Onigum organized a club called the “Stitch Club” and will meet every Friday at different homes.
Adolph Metzer of Inguadona caught two wolves this week and shot a large eagle which measured six feet and nine inches from wing tip to wing tip.

The Hilderbran boys of Blind Lake have been getting our Christmas trees for the past week or so.
Young people home for Thanksgiving in Remer were: Clara Bloyer, Clarice Brown, Faye Henrikson, Violet Hicks, Robert Nicklason, Wm Sjoblom, Robert and Richard Graham, and Thomas Johnson.
Myrn Harder, daughter of Elizabeth Harder, became the bride of Edward W. Johnston at St. Edwards Catholic church near Longville on December 2nd.

Becky Schiebe and John Sartell, representatives of the Longville Teen Club, gifted the Margaret Welch Library with $50.00 to be used to purchase children’s books.
Ron Anderson of Northland High School received a certificate in television broadcasting at the St. Cloud State Speech Festival.
Terry Tobiason is home from the service, and he and his wife are living at the motel in Longville. Terry is helping his dad until he goes back to his regular job.
Pine River high school wrestlers pulled out a 29-25 win over Remer last night. Remer wrestlers were Steve Peterson, Allen Pearson, Wayne Pound, Jerry Berge, David Hendrickson, Roger Mix, Harold Wagenbach, Phil Mix, Gene Mejdrich, Carl Soldner, and Greg Hinsz.

Edna Sophia Brown died November 23, 1996. She was a life-long resident of Remer. She married William H. Brown on September 14, 1925 at Walker. Her parents were Erick and Tommina Boe.
Jerome P. Gothmann was born September 28, 1914 to John and Mary (Wirz) of St. Bonifacius. After his discharge from the Army, he moved to Remer and worked for the railroad and later the mines.
Kari Haynes of Remer was named to the Dean’s List for the fall quarter at Bemidji State University. She is the daughter of Mrs. Ragnhild Haynes of Bena.
